Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Lipstick in Pink Dragon

So, I was reading a review on the new Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting lipsticks by Melissa on Kiss and Make-up Beauty Blog and was thought "Those lipsticks look awfully nice.  Lemme add Blossom Bright to my Sephora wishlist (because it looks awesome), and let's see what other colors there are available."  So I moused over all the shades and discovered one was named Pink Dragon.  PINK DRAGON?!?!  ZOMG!!!  I practically fell off my chair (well, technically off the couch...).  Once I picked myself up off the floor and caught my breath, and I promptly ordered a tube of it.

I'm pretty sure I've mentioned it before, but I was born in the Chinese year of the Dragon (1976 if you must know), so I'm a pretty big fan of just about anything dragon related.

Examples:

A little crystal and enamel dragon box, and the dragon birthday card from my sister that live on some shelves in the bookcase in the master bedroom

Chanel Dragon lipstick, and Estée Lauder Crystal Dragon lipstick (these are both over 10 years old, and I'll never actually use them again, but there is no way I'm getting rid of them)

My crazy big rhinestone dragon ring

A pair of nylons with a dragon on each leg

A pair of boots with dragons (and phoenixes) on them

A bottle of Cartier's Le Baiser du Dragon that resides on the dresser in the master bedroom (this tester was gratis from Sephora -- at our store they would give us bottles of perfumes Sephora wasn't going to carry anymore) (I don't think I've ever actually worn this perfume...)

And now Estée Lauder Pure Color Envy Shine Sculpting Lipstick in Pink Dragon

I'm guessing most of you are interested in the lipstick and not all the cool dragon stuff I own, so let's talk about the lipstick.

It's packaged beautifully in a metallic navy blue tube which attracts fingerprints, and the cap is magnetized, so it closes with a satisfying secure feeling, and the knowledge that the cap won't slip off in your handbag, makeup bag, pocket, or wherever else you keep your lipstick.

I used the lipstick as soon as I finished tearing open the Sephora box instead of taking a photo of it.

Pink Dragon is a medium neutral pink (not warm or cool to my eyes), that has quite a balmy texture and a soft shine finish.  I don't think I'd consider this a sheer lipstick, but it has some translucency to it.  I think it has a wee bit of shimmer, but the shine and slight glossiness of the lipstick makes it more difficult to tell.

I don't detect any scent either in the tube or on the lips.  Wear time is similar to any shiny, balmy lipstick at around 3 hours.

So, the fact that this is named "Pink Dragon" automatically makes it an awesome lipstick.  The fact that the formula and color is excellent is just icing on the cake.

P. S. I also love the color pink.  My childhood bedroom was painted pink, I had pink gingham curtains, and pink window blinds.  My bedding had a rainbow on it, but the edges were pink.  My baby blanket (that I still have) is was pink (it's so faded and worn that I'm not sure it could be considered pink anymore).

Love love love.  How many backups of this lipstick should I have?

UPDATE: I just saw on A Beautiful Zen that this has a matching nail polish.  I gotta have that too.
