Todays #SBBC post is about "Shopping your Stash", or what we beauty junkies like to call "being on a spending ban". I could've picked anything for this really but decided to go with this little lovely from Nars. Hot Wired is a bright fuchsia pink with flecks of blue shimmer running through it in a jelly/gloss finish.
Normally I wouldn't be a big fan of a lip product that has the word "shimmer" associated it but this is different- it's more of an iridescence and it isn't hugely noticeable on the lips. If anything, it just helps to emphasise the whiteness of your teeth.
Because it's in a pot, you could be forgiven for thinking this is a balm type of product but really, it does require a bit of precision in applying it as it is quite pigmented. I would also say that it wears quite well and is long lasting once on the lips but does need topping up after eating etc.
It is super pretty and can be worn lightly for a flattering wash of pink or built up for a pop of colour.
