If you have read my Dove Haircare post recently, you will know I have been loving my haircare to protect or enhance my colour recently rather than the usual. It's been a good 6 months since I had my hair dyed and it's amazing how using these products have seriously made the colour more brighter and fresh, as if I may have coloured it a month ago!
It can be slightly tricky to find decent products that work with your hair type (count mine as dry, damaged and frizzy!) especially when they are geared towards hair colour. My personal favourites are Dove and Andrew Barton. Dove everyone's heard of of course but Andrew Barton is a less talked about new discovery that I have been obsessed with since the last few months.
Andrew is a hairstylist of the 10 years younger fame and I love how he makes his products intensely hydrating and amazing value for money. That huge pot of hair mask you see above retails for under a fiver which in my opinion is god sent for long haired girls like myself. I won't blabber much about the ingredients but whatever it is, it works miraculously at sealing in the moisture, bringing out the faded colour and protecting hair from heat damage, be it the sun or the hair tools.
The range is available at Asda and I definitely recommend checking it out when your in one. I usually like to travel light but I am planning to squeeze these bottles in for my trip to India! Fingers crossed they don't leak.
