Review: Soulflower Refreshing Aroma Body Massage Oil and Rose Geranium Aroma Bath Salts

What I feel best about winters is a lovely cup of hot coffee and an opportunity to stay indoors, which definitely gives me loads of chances to pamper myself. Nothing can beat the peace and happiness I feel after having a hot shower with the most relaxing bath products and then cozily snuggling into the warm blanket. The only thing better than this, is to have a lovely aroma therapy massage before I plunge myself into the pool of divinity.
I love to treat myself with spa products especially on a lazy weekend and today I am going to review two of my most recent favorites here - Refreshing Aroma Body Massage Oil  and Rose Geranium Bath Salts from Soulflower that I got from Spastore.in. Check them out below:

My experience with this oil:

The first thing that hit me most about this oil is its strong lemongrass fragrance. It smells richly of lemongrass and other herbal ingredients contained in it. The oil is quite light in consistency and easy to apply. It also gets absorbed quite quickly into the skin. I like the strong smell of lemongrass and most of the times, I end up smelling my palms after every 5-10 minutes of massaging my body. I've always felt extremely relaxed after just 10-15 minutes of massage from this oil on my limbs and torso. The most relaxing part of massaging from this oil comes when I apply it on my spine, neck and throat in upward motion. The whole experience along with the fragrance is rich enough to make me feel most relaxed and at my best.
I also pour a couple of drops of this oil into my bath water and it definitely helps  a lot in taking my bathing experience to a new level with the richness and tranquility of its herbal fragrance while giving ultra-smoothness and nourishment to my skin. This massage oil is definitely a treat to the skin and senses in all the ways.

Below are some of the likes and dislikes that I've felt about it:

Likes:
1) Lovely rich fragrance of lemongrass in the oil that is quite relaxing to the senses.
2) Has a very light consistency and doesn't feel heavy at all on application.
3) Nourishes my skin well and keeps it soft and supple.
4) I've always felt extremely relaxed after using this for massage and after bathing from the water with few drops in it.
5) It never gave me any breakouts, rashes or any kind of skin irritation.

Dislikes:
I don't have any particular dislike from this except for the packaging. The oil comes in a normal bottle with a screw open cap and that makes the task of using it a bit tedious and messy, especially when you are left at your own disposal to do the massage. I'd have preferred a bit more user friendly packaging for it.

Overall verdict:

If you don't want to spend thousands of bucks every week getting a spa treatment, then this can be a perfect massage oil for you. It smells really good that I agree to the detoxification claims, and works amazingly in relaxing my mind, muscles and skin. I have used this oil to even massage my forehead and it feels really great for that especially for my sinus pain.

My experience with this bath salt

I remember the first time I used this bath salt was for my feet treatment, after I'd spent a hectic day doing all sorts of adventure sport activities like Zip lining, Kayaking, rock rappelling, deep lake diving, swimming and trekking. I'd come home exhausted and thoroughly tired and I simply took a bucket of hot water, poured a teaspoon of this bath salt in it and dipped my feet. I loved the whole experience so much that I eventually ended up going for a full-fledged bath using this bath salt.
It really did work amazingly in relaxing my aching muscles and my feet really thanked it a lot that day. I've used this bath salt a couple of times now. The best thing that hits you the first is the lovely rose fragrance, as if you are in some rose garden that has been freshly drenched in rain. The freshly wet fragrance of rose is what comes from these bath salts and it itself is heavenly enough to ease out your pain and fatigue to a great level. This bath salt doesn’t lather much so don't expect to play in bubbles while dipping in water containing this. But, the fragrance and effect on skin and muscles are more than enough for me to recommend this to you.

I don't have any particular dislike from this bath salt, except that it doesn't lather much.

I got these two products along with the Soulflower Rose Soapin a spa gift hamper sent to me from Spastore.in. The hamper was packaged in a lovely red colored cover made up of handmade paper. The products were kept in a lovely case and I really liked the packaging a lot.
I'll be reviewing the Rose soap in next couple of days so stay tuned!! :)
