Arian Foster is one of the baddest running backs in football and I enjoy watching highlights of this stud run over bastards who pray before every game for God to give them the power to tackle this monster. Most times these pathetic prayers go un answered and this beast runs over the asses of linebackers and defensive linemen who must wonder why their creator didn't answer their calls for help on the gridiron. the notion that these jack fucks would even pray to a higher calling to help them on the field of play of any sport yet alone the violent nature of collisionball is absolutely absurd and a topic for another blog post conversation. what I want to celebrate today is the announcement that Arian Foster is an atheist and ESPN magazine did a full coverage of this guy as the anti-Tim Tebow. (Tebow was the lousy Denver Bronco quarterback that evoked God in all of his interviews and was so hated for his stupid day game evangelism) We need more agnostic and atheist players such as Arian foster to highlight the bullshit prayer vigils of these over-paid athletes after they sack the fuck out of a player trying to cause major bodily harm
Arian had a compelling interview through ESPN how he has always been a skeptic about the notion of God and whether a God would give a shit about ball play and determine who wins or performs spectacularly. there are a lot of really stupid idiots in the stands and professional players who actually have in their brain programmed that such a God would determine whether a player should succeed depending on their prayers or faith. This is absolute horseshit and it is great to see a player of Arian Foster's magnitude and talent to step up against the numerous prayer huddles before and during games by these Christians who attribute success by a pleased God wearing a jersey of his most beloved subjects. I recommend sports fans to check out this interview with this great running back and actually learn something new and the diversity of players who don't follow the common script that is expected by some right-wing Christian extremists in what they expect all athletes to follow and behave.
